After a year of direct actions to prevent its demolition, on June 30th the New York Landmarks Preservation Commission (LPC) voted unanimously to calendar 227 Duffield Street to hear its historical significance and vote for its designation as a landmark.
On July 14th at 9:30 am, the LPC will review testimony and vote to landmark 227 Duffield Street. The hearing will be live via their YouTube channel.
